Portland Yacht Services, a full-service yard and marina in Portland, Maine. Check out the construction of the Lion's Whelp, a beautiful transoceanic cruiser! Mario's Marina, Rio Dulce, Guatemala Lagoon Marina, La Ceiba, Honduras (luxury in the jungle!) PowerBoats, our favorite yard in Trinidad. Great D-I-Y facilities and don't miss the rotis at lunchtime!
Marine Supplies: Hamilton Marine, an excellent discount marine chandlery Sailnet, marine supplies and community...great email discussion groups for owners; article database; message boards Thai Teak, a huge selection of teak moldings, trim, louvred doors, cabin accessories, etc. Dave's Marine Electronics (Broken Leg Dave), He has great prices on electronics, and a wide selection. We got our new sailing instruments and chartplotter from him for a lot less than local. McMaster-Carr, Industrial and raw materials. A great resource for fasteners, plumbing, and raw materials like various plastics, rubber, phenolic, stainless steel, brass stock, etc.
SAILBOAT DISCUSSION & Owners' Groups: Mariner Yacht Owners' Group not regularly updated, but has a "forum" for New Hampshire-built Mariner owners.
