The British Virgin Islands, continued...

After a quick overnight stop to get our propane tank filled at expensive Soper's Hole, Tortola (aka Yachtie Disneyland) we sailed close-hauled to Virgin Gorda Sound. We had a beautiful afternoon on a perfect beach with the folks on Flying Shadow, just playing in the sand and snorkeling:

We also went out into Eustatia Sound for some more snorkeling and fishing; and we watched the feeding of the penned sharks, rays, and fishes at the Bitter End Yacht Club, something of a tradition for me since I have childhood memories of the same...

Soon we decided it was time to leave for the passage to St. Martin, and we stopped for several hours at The Baths before we set out. The Baths, despite being incredibly crowded with charter boats and day-trippers, is as incredible as I remembered it. We were all enthralled with the scenery as we hiked through and around the gigantic boulders. It's indescribably magical.

next...on to St. Martin and Guadeloupe
